Ann Coulter's Attack on Christian Missions

If you have read Ann Coulter's article about the Christian missionary doctor who recently contracted Ebola while serving in Liberia, please follow it up with the responses from Albert Mohler and Russell Moore (Click their names for the links). I will only say "Amen!" to what Dr. Mohler and Dr. Moore have written and request continued prayer for this doctor, his nurse and other missionaries who go, in spite of great risk, in obedience to Jesus' command.

  1. I had no idea you ran a blog, pal. Well done! Coulter is a professional propagandist with a corporate-inspired agenda. My initial analysis of her text is that it is some sort of riff on the Manifest Destiny theme (“If America falls, it will be a thousand years of darkness for the entire planet.”); however, it is entirely possible she is merely attempting to further confound an increasing number of Americans that are already confounded by life in the current century. It is simply beyond my simple powers to determine exactly what an individual such as Coulter is actually up to in her public pronouncements. I would think that a little information about the history of American propagandists and their role in the development of American culture would go a long way here. Allow me to suggest two books on this subject: Walter Lippmann’s “Public Opinion” and “Crystallizing Public Opinion” by Edward Bernays.
